FEATURED IN

I CREATE BESPOKE ILLUSTRATIONS FOR EVENTS, BLENDING FINE ART TECHNIQUES WITH THOUGHTFUL DESIGN TO CREATE ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECES.
As an illustrator I work primarily in watercolour and ink, but I also occasionally create mixed media pieces and collages using brush pens, acrylic paint/ink, and digital tools.
Most of my work is for events, including signage and personalised stationery, but I also accept editorial and digital commissions.
Please feel free to get in touch with any questions about a project,
brief or creative collaboration.

BEHIND THE SCENES
The Process
I work closely with clients to ensure that artwork is thoughtfully crafted to reflect the mood, details, and emotion of the occasion, resulting in custom artwork that feels personal, and unique.

Step 1. Design Consultation & Creative Direction
We begin with a relaxed consultation to talk through your ideas, goals, and where the illustration will be used. This stage may include research, visual references, and style exploration, all helping to set a clear creative direction before any drawing or painting begins.
Step 2. Concept Development
Initial moodboards and/or concept sketches are created to explore composition, colour tones, mood, and storytelling. This is a collaborative stage where ideas are refined and feedback is welcomed. This stage acts as the blueprint for the final artwork and help ensure everything feels right early on.
Step 3. Hand Painting, Design & Illustration
Once the concept is approved, the illustration is carefully brought to life by hand. This is the most time-intensive part of the process, involving layering, colour work, texture, and fine detail. Each piece is made individually, so every illustration is truly one of a kind.
Step 4. Refining the Artwork
The illustration is then reviewed and fine-tuned, with adjustments made to colour, balance, and detail. This step ensures the artwork feels polished and cohesive before moving into production.
Step 5. Preparing for Print
To make sure the illustration prints beautifully, the artwork is prepared specifically for professional reproduction. This includes high-resolution scanning or digital optimisation, colour correction, and careful conversion to CMYK so colours remain consistent and vibrant in print.
Step 6. The Final Deliverables
You’ll receive high-resolution, print-ready files formatted for commercial printing, or ready to be sent out digitally at the correct resolution and screen ratio. This final step ensures everything is technically sound and ready to be used with confidence.
